Buying in Bulk
At KiS we endeavor to help you plan your bulk orders so that you can beat freight challenges wherever possible.
Call (425) 558 0990 or email orders@kisorganics.com where our friendly and knowledgeable team are on hand to answer your questions and talk to you in more detail about your specific soil needs.
We will do all we can to offer the best pricing for your shipping but please be aware that there may be increased chances of delays that go hand in hand with any seasonal weather and road conditions.
Please note that our PNW winter weather increases water content in our soil mixes which impacts the weight of pallets and typically means that we can ship fewer yards per truckload. Higher rates will potentially be in effect up until May 2024.
We can fulfill all order sizes. Whether you are looking for 1 yard or 400+ or more, we have you covered. All our soils are available in larger and custom quantities and custom blends.
We know how important it is to try and test soil and we advocate this process. If you would like to purchase a smaller order to test our soil before placing a larger order, please let us know how we can support you.
The Process
Making a Bulk Order Request
Please have the following information to hand to include in your request:
Your order and your full address.
Whether your location is residential or commercial. If you are located in a residential neighborhood, please select ‘residential’. If you are located on a farm and or living on the property, please also select ‘residential’. Please note that commercial addresses must be located in commercially zoned areas.
Whether you need a lift-gate to unload your shipment. A lift-gate will lift your pallet(s) from the truck to the ground and deliver curbside only. We recommend that you choose the lift-gate option if you DO NOT have a forklift on site. This service will incur an additional charge. Please note that this option is not available for full truck loads.
Any specific requirements. For example, if you require that the product(s) be moved to a specific location after they are unloaded. This service will incur an additional charge and is only available for orders that are less than a truckload.
It is very important that you let us know if you have any access issues at your location that may impact delivery.

Freight Costs
Please note that all bulk shipping costs are pass through costs which means we seeks out and pass on the lowest possible costs into you, the customer. We have no control over the current or future freight costs.
Damage and Returns
Due to the risk of contamination and cost of the return freight, we are not able to accept return bulk products once they have been delivered.
For freight shipments, please inspect your order immediately upon delivery, prior to accepting the shipment and signing the Bill of Lading (BOL). Your signature on the BOL denotes that your order arrived safely and without noticeable damage and shifts all responsibility for the condition of the order to you. When you receive your shipment, confirm that your name and address is on the receipt, and examine the quantities and conditions of each of the items on every pallet. Check all sides of the shipment for damage to the shrink wrapping, and tears, holes, stains, or water damage to the packaging. If any items are missing or damaged, please meticulously write every issue in detail on the delivery receipt and have the driver initial next to your damage footnotes. Take photos of any damages and open any packages or pallets with visible loss or damage while the driver is present. Please immediately notify KIS Organics of any damages and send a copy of the delivery receipt with the list of damages to orders@kisorganics.com.
